River Rush was founded by Markie and Mike—partners in paddling, business, and life.

We started this company with a simple belief: the rafting industry can do better. For too long, large operators have dominated the rivers while the guides who make these experiences possible are often underpaid and undervalued. We’re building something different—an operation rooted in respect for both the river and the people who work on it.

River Rush is intentionally small. We don’t aim to be the biggest outfitter with the most boats or the largest fleet. Instead, we focus on delivering high-quality, personal experiences while creating fair, sustainable opportunities for our guides. Smaller trip sizes allow us to be more flexible, more attentive, and more connected—to our guests and to the river itself.

This is a company built on passion—for the outdoors, for community, and for doing things the right way.

Our Team

Our guides are the heart of River Rush. They’re a tight-knit group of experienced professionals who genuinely love what they do. They choose to be on the water because they care deeply about the rivers and the experiences they create for others.
